Safety Advisor

Direct Safety Solutions Inc. is looking for a Safety Advisor for the Saskatoon Area. The potential candidate will assist in the coordination, development and implementation of Health and Safety programming for several different contractors in the construction industry. The Advisor will possess a strong commitment to safety and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. You are a leader in the area of safety and possess specialized knowledge or skills to provide worker training as required. You work well with others and are a very strong team player. The Advisor must knowledgeable of the Sask. OH&S Legislation to ensure compliance with specific site requirements.

Qualifications:

- NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) or CSO Certification.
- Current valid Driver's Licence & Driver's Abstract req'd.
- 3-5 years' experience in construction.
- Excellent knowledge of Saskatchewan OH&S Legislation, Policies & Practices as applied to the construction industry.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Superior organizational and problem solving skills.
- Be skilled in conducting formal presentations.
- Computer literate, working knowledge of MS programs specifically, Word & Excel.
- CRSP, CHSC or GSC certifications would be an asset.
